These individual two sided marker boards will be used by students to complete daily math tasks of any skill. When students have their very own board to write on, they become much more involved in the task at hand. They enjoy holding their board up for others to see their solutions. This makes it very easy for a teacher to assess all students quickly from one point in the classroom. The opposite side of the board includes a permanent coordinate grid. This allows students to graph points in all four quadrants, graph linear functions, and find slope. These are difficult skills for 6th graders and they are always more excited to learn when they have their own board!
