The table will be used to help individual students who are struggling with reading and/or writing to spend one-on-one time with me in reaching ELA success. This will give them their own separate space to work with me individually or as a small group. Guided reading will be implemented at the horseshoe table frequently as well as with the book shelf. I will have guided reading books and other picture books on the shelf. This shelf will be next to my guided reading table so my students have easy access to the books they will be reading and working with during our guided reading.
