I conducted Empathy Interviews with students. These interviews are designed for students to truly share their experiences and stories. I was seeking to understand the students' experience. Students shared how it can be difficult to hear both the teacher and other students during their online classes. Also, students expressed frustration about being able to physically make their voice heard through the microphone during online class. I want to provide my students with access to high-quality headphones and microphones to let their voices be heard. In an online environment a headphone and mic are essential learning tools.
