As my scholars continue to develop their passions for reading, it's important to provide a variety of books for them to choose from. Frequent reading is so important for my scholars' reading development, and I want to provide a variety of book options that they are excited about and see themselves represented in. I requested a variety of books about math as well as important figures who have contributed to the world of math. I hope to better integrate ELA and Math by reading books that pair well with our math curriculum, so scholars can be excited about reading all day! I also hope to provide more resources to my scholars who need more support with regulating their emotions throughout the day. Having access to fidgets and other tools in our peace corner will help my scholars take care of their individual needs so they are able to be their best selves in our classroom!
