These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create while also supporting my students social emotional learning. Our reading carpet is a place my students enjoy thoroughly. I am able to sit read on the carpet to them, they complete work there, and they read independently!
Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. We will be able to sit down together and read through these books while discussing our emotions through each story.
While adding more books to my classroom library I we are also able to strengthen their social emotional skills in and out of the classroom.
