I am requesting headphones, colored pencils, scissors and crayons. These materials will help students with technological learning by having individual headphones.
Headphones help students by being able to having stories read to them because many are auditory learners. It also blocks out noise in the classroom if they are working on individual work. Basic supplies that every student needs like crayons and colored pencils will be met.
Coloring is a great way for students to express themselves artistically. Having these individual boxes will diminish sharing and arguing over crayons. We use crayons and colored pencils daily in map skills lessons. It is difficult to complete lessons when not all students have supplies. Students will perform better with all supplies.
I can't wait to see what students can do with new supplies.
