Many have stereotyped our children as being “far behind” and think that the best way to “catch them up” is by doing the traditional education; kids in a chair being lectured by a teacher. Times have changed and research shows the benefits of a Montessori education on students. Their learning is led by their interest and happens organically. Montessori applications have shown the drastic impact on a students retention of learning because they are applying what they know to hands-on experiences. My mission is to provide a Montessori experience for my students in a Title 1 school because Montessori should not be a privilege but rather an experience available to ALL.
The items listed are Montessori based and will enhance my students' learning in both reading and mathematics, all while having fun. There is also flexible seating included to help my students feel comfortable and engaged in their learning environment.
