When working with deaf/hard of hearing students, it is often hard to find age-appropriate reading materials that also align with their reading abilities.
Finding differentiated materials without pointing out a discrepancy between my students and their age-matched peers can be difficult.
Teachers Pay Teachers allows me to use materials that all look similar, but are written at different levels and provide the necessary supplements for my students. They also provide many various graphic organizers, which help my students with their writing skills and with their reading comprehension. This project will require a large written component, and my students will need support to organize their thoughts into paragraphs that are both concise and informational.
