My students in grades 3-5 need flexible learning options in the EC classroom. These students have a tendency to struggle to learn in the regular classroom. I have noticed that when given the opportunity to work in non-conventional seating or learning arrangements, my students are able to retain more content. This growth in learning is supported with data from teachers on state and local assessments. I currently have enough flexible seating for one student at a time but would like the opportunity to provide flexible seating as an option for all students when needed.
