The clothes that I am requesting will help students when they have accidents to be able to return with some clean sweats or leggings without having to feel embarrassed. Students need to know that we care about their well-being as well as their education too. Students at our school represent African Americans, Hispanics, and Asians, and more than 75% come from low-income households. Students will be able to either bring back the clothes washed or they can keep them for themselves, we help build their self-esteem.
