Currently, my students keep a binder of their work. At the end of the year, I want students to be able to reflect on their learning and present a portfolio of their work. Portfolios are common assessments of work, especially in the workplace, and I think it is important to expose them to that type of informal assessment. Students will be using the portfolio folders to keep their work and using some of the supplies, like pencils, cardstock, and laminations to demonstrate what they have learned. It is important to me that my students are college and workforce-ready!
