The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math. Using the workshop model in math, students come to my small group table ready for guided practice. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work with me and their classmates.
In math, white boards and markers are my students go-to way of showing their work and knowledge. As a first year teacher, I only have protector sheets with printer paper inside of them as white boards now. The sheet protectors crinkle and the papers and markers constantly need to be replaced. Giving my students these accessories will help my classroom run smoother and provide my students with everything they need!
