My students are AWESOME! My students are struggling readers, but have the potential to make huge gains with the right amount of focused instruction. Each day they come to school with a willingness to learn. This is despite the fact that most of my students are on free and reduced-price lunch. Many come from high poverty environments, where there is little educational support at home. My students have a lot of factors going against them, but they overcome these and truly succeed!!
