I am a second-grade teacher with a wonderful group of students. They are constantly impressing me with their hard-working attitudes, amazing work ethics, and overall positive outlooks on life. I am so proud to be their teacher. They deserve the best education possible.
I teach at a rural, Title I school in North Carolina.
Every child receives free breakfast and lunch. We are located near a large military base and, as a result, serve children of active duty and retired military. Our school serves students from many socioeconomic backgrounds including homeless students, who at times may live with family, friends, or other relatives.
Our students are bright and eager to learn new things. They are hard workers and strive to make their world a better place.
