Hello, I work with the greatest bunch of three year olds that you could ever meet. I use to teach older students (5th-6th graders). Anyway, I thought I would have a lot of trouble adjusting or that I just wouldn’t like working with three year olds, but this group has taught me so, so much!
To be honest, about 4-5 of these kiddos really gave me a hard time for about the first month, but little by little they started getting use to the structure and routines in our classroom. At first they were running all over the room and crawling under tables and chairs and really giving me a run for my money (quite literally).
Now they all show up to class with a big smile on their face and really enjoy being in class! They love the boogie boards that they are using from Donor’s Choose for writing, the comfy seating in the library, the crayons for drawing, the sensory table for science and the light sensory table as well.
