My library serves students grades 9-12. Our high school has just under 2200 students each year. Many come from rural homes. We are a title one school in a state with limited funding sources. Every year, the library checks out about 10,000 books to students. We are working to create a library that is inclusive for all readers and learners. We host activities every week. Students are in the library before school, during lunch, and after school. Students come to the library with their classes to learn about information literacy and to find books to read to support cirriculum. Our library is a place that is vibrant and often loud. It is a place to learn and connect. It is a major hub of the school!
