I work with students that have Mild to Moderate disabilities. I implement a token economy system in the classroom that rewards their positive behavior with Fidget toys and snacks. They enjoy it and it is a constant need. I purchase these items regularly throughout the year so I continue to keep up with the consistency of this system in place. My students are able to get items once a month.
Every time they are displaying behavior, I provide them with a ticket. One to two times a month, I have raffles so students could pick items from the prizes. I also use mini candies as a form as regular everyday tasks or competitions.
