The Spanish File Folder Game I would like the students to have are are multi sensory and cover both the initial sounds in Spanish and blending components needed to master the language. The materials will help my students grow academically in their foundational skills in reading. They are in need of these supplies which are currently very scarce in my classroom. They will benefit from these materials by learning in an engaging way that makes learning fun and exciting. The games are both kinesthetic and tactile for addressing all learning styles.
The listening center is fantastic for all students because the non-native Spanish speakers get to hear the language spoken clearly and slowly. The native Spanish speakers will benefit by following along with the story to improve their reading and vocabulary skills. The stories model how the language is spoken. Not only are they listening to good literature but they are listening to the language in a fun and engaging way.
