We are a diverse 3K-8 public school with over 300 students. Most students come from low-income households with 95% receiving free breakfast and lunch. Many of our students face challenges both in school and at home.
My students embody diversity and together form a wonderful community where differences are embraced and celebrated.
Each student brings something unique to our school, and what unites them is their energy, thirst for knowledge, and connection with us--their school counselors.
During the pandemic, my students dealt with many unknowns and inconsistencies. The ongoing disruption to their education has forced my students to adapt from one day to the next, negatively impacting their social-emotional development and ability to self-regulate in a healthy way. At times, my school lacks the tools that help them deal with the trauma they have endured the past few years.
Please help our amazing students!
