I teach at a title one school with an large Hispanic population. I currently teach every child in the school for 30 minutes a week. I would love for my students to be able to experience art more often. Every child in the school will be introduced to the new materials and Plein air drawing in art with a unit entitled meet the Expessionist.
During the unit students will have the opportunity to draw in the gardens we have on campus and use the easel boards and drawing pencils. They will be able to practice shadding techniques previously learned.
