I teach students with physical and multiple handicaps. The students I teach are in wheelchairs and learning to walk. These students have many physical disabilities that make looking at regular books impossible. Sound books have buttons on the side or top that will play the sound of the book. This will allow my students to read.
The students I teach are in kindergarten to second grade. All of the students have physical and mental disabilities. They are dependent on feeding, toileting, communication, play, dress, and academics.
The school where I teach is a public separate school for students with severe mental and physical disabilities. These books will be used by many of these students as the progress through the school and I will let other teachers borrow them.
