I work at a wonderful Title One school in Tennessee. Most of the students are on free or reduced lunch. My class consist of 22 aspiring second graders. I have a diverse classroom, culturally and socially. Our school is a safe and magnificent place to learn, were success is the only option.
My students are "go-getter's", with a large appetite for learning. Many of my students are not expose to meaningful learning experiences, outside of the classroom, due to family dynamics. Teaching is my greatest love. I believe that through meaningful teaching, one can ignite the torch in a child's mind that burns forever. It is my deepest desire to provide the best for my students, so they will be able to acquire all that they need to meet their educational needs.
