My students are Intellectually Disabled and Autistic students (grades 9th-12th) that are enrolled in resource/CTE classes that focus on basic skills of core classes, independent living skills, organizational skills, and career related skills throughout the school day (Block Schedule). During the afternoon, the students participate in PROJECT FIT (Espresso Express) and PROJECT SHINE (students working to improve the school's environment). In addition, they are responsible to maintain inventory of the classroom uniform store for the school.
BY DONATING TO OUR PROJECT, YOU WILL MOST IMPORTANTLY PROVIDE THE STUDENTS WITH WORK SKILLS AND TRAININGS THAT WILL ULTIMATELY BE USEFUL FOR LIFE.
