My students love to curl up with a good book! We have time set aside daily to read choice reading materials. Students can also read when other work is done. They very much enjoy this time where they can read anything they choose.
Being able to get comfortable in a bean bag chair and really dive into a book is much more appealing than sitting and trying to lose yourself in reading while sitting on a hard, plastic chair. None of us read that way normally.
