My 4th grade classes are full of unique personalities. They are authentic, rigorous, engaging, and creative. My classroom is themed and centered around a supportive, welcoming, and learning community. Students in my class have ownership of their own learning and a lot of what goes on happens organically. Because of the passion I have for teaching, my class develops a love of knowledge. My students come from all different walks of life. They love to explore reading and writing together, and we build the foundation to become life-long learners. My goal is for them to develop a love of learning, a passion for reading, growing creative thinkers, being compassionate to others, and to create a culture of kindness and empathy. My classroom is a room full of authors, mathematicians, scientists, poets, teachers, learners full of passion, and critical thinkers who want to change the world to be a better place.
