I teach 6th and 7th grade students history with a lot of science mixed in. Nearly every unit I teach has a bit of science connected to the history. We learn to make connections across different topics so learning becomes a deep, lasting experience. I'm really working on adding more hands-on experiences to further enrich these lessons. Creativity is an important part of learning, and I want my students to show me what their imagination can add to the process.
