I have an amazing class of (13) 4th/5th grade special education students. Each one is unique and works diligently in class and are progressing in reading, writing, and math. In class all students have learned to accept one another despite their differences. When one student is having a difficulty, many of my students will go out of their way to help their classmate. I have never had such a loving group of students. Though there are challenges throughout the day, our class is ran like a family and we deal with problems as they arise. My students participate in a weekly focus group where they are learning coping skills for anger, anxiety, and aggressive behavior. However, it doesn't matter, this is truly an amazing and awesome group of students who I am honored to be their teacher. Room 6 Rocks!
