Many of my students come from low socio-economic communities, which can negatively affect their academic progress and outcomes in school. As an Academic Advisor, my role is to provide guidance to high students to help them successfully graduate from high school and matriculate to post-secondary, and gauge their academic interest with college research, scholarships, grants, and housing resources.
