I teach an amazing group of Kindergarten students in Minnesota. They range between 5 and 6 years old. My classroom is extra special as my students are a VERY diverse group! We have students from Liberia, Mexico, Ethiopia and of course, Minnesota. Our school is located in a very urban section of Minnesota. The parents of my students are very hard working folks- many work 2 or even 3 jobs to support their families. My students don't get to experience much outside of school and home, so I do my very best to bring the world to them!
I have the privilege of teaching at a school where the teachers go above and beyond each day to support our kids. The teachers at my school teach after school, make home visits, and regularly donate clothes and supplies to our students. It's a special place where teachers go above and beyond to make sure our kiddos are taken care of. In additional to making sure our students have the basics, our teachers provide lots of love and hugs to our kid
