My students are carrying not just to me, but to each other. They love playing together, when a couple of us sit down as a small group to color it ends up being a large group. They love showing off their work to each other.
My students love circle time, they enjoy giving their input as what we should do for an example if we should dance, use musical instruments, calendar time or colors.
They are still learning to use their words and not their hands or feet. They will apologize to the child that they hurt their feelings.
A big thing they are learning about is waiting their turn patiently. We all have that child who thinks they need to be first or they may lose out on something.
My students are also learn about manners and how important they can be, just by saying “May I please have…, or Thank you, and You are welcome”. I try to explain to them that manners will get them far in life. Some of them may understand.
