My name is Jessica Miller. This is my tenth year teaching at Myrtle Beach Middle School. I teach 6th-8th grade students with moderate-severe disabilities, including Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and more. Many people have an idea of what they think my classroom may look like, but there is not one way to describe the remarkable learning that takes place! Learning in my room includes academics like literacy and math but it is so much more than that! I help my students develop their cognitive, communication, social, and functional skills. My mission is to create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where my student can learn the skills they need in order for them to have a purposeful, productive, and meaningful life!
