My students are with special needs. Providing each student their own materials will teach them life skills by taking care of their own materials. They need modified and simplified curriculum including individualized instruction tailored to each student's capabilities. The calculators I requested will help my students learn math with more engagement by providing hands-on activities besides other manipulatives. My students are capable of learning, though at different pace.
