Students read books that they find interesting. Having choice about what to read is an component to building literacy that will carry my students into the future. With these books, my students will be able to choose to read about teens facing the same issues they do, get lost in a silly story, or learn about francophone cultures. Students will use these books during the free choice reading portion of our class, and they will generate book clubs and book reviews about these titles.
These books will help my students increase their French proficiency while enjoying a good story. What could be better than that?!
