I am currently a first grade ESL teacher in a Title 1 school. This year, (2023-2024) I moved to a new school, but in the same district. I have a passion for teaching English Learners as I grew up as an English Learner myself. As an ESL teacher, I get to teach all students who have English as a second language and encourage them to continue improving their English and native language so they can stay bilingual be proud of their heritage and culture. I am very fortunate to work with a very cultural diverse population at my school. They all bring something unique that enriches everyone's school experience. My students are excited to learn. They have a desire to build their English language skills and are curious students. You can connect students to learning through providing them with educational resources that inspire, motivate and equip them to be life-long learners.
