Each young person has their own story to tell in life, and making art gives them a place to do just that. Sad, happy, angry, curious, playful...whatever they feel in the classroom that day, they can use art to express it. It is a valuable thing in life to know yourself, and making art can help us experience the emotions we have and maybe, just maybe, make a little sense of the hard experiences life throws our way. The teenage years are hard, but these kids are resilient and we want to see them grow and have a safe space to create.
