Many of my students live in small apartments in housing projects. They share tiny spaces with multiple family members and often cannot participate in Zoom learning sessions. Having wireless earbuds and iPads will help them so much!
Often, housing projects do not have access to strong WiFi signals. My students share devices with family members or don’t have any devices at all. Their disabilities make learning challenging enough as it is. Moving to synchronous and asynchronous remote learning has created challenged for my students that were already being challenged because of their disabilities
