The student population is categorized as impoverished but they have an energy and spirit unlike any other. Children don’t see color, disabilities or economic status and that’s what makes my kindergarten class so special! Children want to learn, explore and ask questions. They want to smile, share and succeed. In my classroom it is my responsibility to encourage students to think and push them forward and in previous classes that is exactly what happens. Our IReady data supports the fact that our students are learning at a high rate and as of this school year we celebrated 100% success with no student below grade level!
