My 556 amazing students are readers of every level, from beginning readers just putting sounds together to advanced readers who are reading at high school levels! They all love the read aloud stories and the activities that we do in the library. Half of my students are enrolled in our Trilingual Immersion program, where most of their school day is taught in Spanish, a portion in English, and they also learn conversational Vietnamese through a cultural lens. 30% of my students are English learners, of which Spanish is the most common spoken home language. Over 75% of my students come from low-income households, with limited access to physical books. But all of my students have access to new books through our library every week.
