I am a Reading/English Language Arts Teacher. I am currently teacher Support Inclusion. A supported inclusion classroom for middle school is a setting where students with disabilities are educated alongside their non-disabled peers. This environment promotes the participation of all students in the general education curriculum. Inclusion fosters a sense of belonging, where students with learning challenges are not just passive participants but active, valued members of the classroom community. It promotes understanding, empathy, and respect among all students, breaking down barriers of ignorance and prejudice. When we embrace inclusion, we cultivate a culture that celebrates diversity, where every student's voice is heard and their potential is realized.
