My students are mainly from Latin American countries. They are full of life and are so fun to be around. They are the bravest people I know. Imagine coming to a new country, not knowing the native language spoken, and having to start in a whole new school where they know nobody surrounding them. They work so hard and have more motivation than a lot of students their age. They give it their all every day and WANT to learn. That is something so unique and rare in this day and age. My students' parents work crazy hours, so they are usually left being the caretaker for younger siblings through the day. Many come to school and ask me if I have food for them to snack on along with not getting a lot of sleep.
