My students are 8 and 9 year old children from Massachusetts. They attend a public school in a big city. We have a very diverse classroom and school. They are eager to learn and happy when they are in school. Working cooperatively is their favorite activity. Working with their peers is so beneficial. The acceptance by all children is what really makes our building shine. As I go throughout my day I am eagerly looking for opportunities for the students to work in small groups, peer guided and controlled. This benefits all students.
