I teach AVID 9-12! My students are individuals who are striving to be successful in high school, finish college, and find a career that they find fulfilling. They rely on the supportive community in our AVID class to help them succeed in their accelerated and honors classes, while actively pursuing their post-secondary goals.
For many of my students the AVID classroom is their "homebase" at school. It's where they come to check in, get help, and build community. We like to think of AVID as a family. Everyone is here to get help, while helping others.
