Who doesn't love to play games? Who says that kindergarteners can't learn how to read by playing games? If you support this project you'll be providing my students with educational activities that promote early literacy skills.
I have carefully selected activities and materials that will support both my students early literacy skills and their social skills. For many of my students, kindergarten is their first classroom experience, so it's important that their learning experience is both engaging and positive.
All the materials that I have selected will support my kindergarteners in the foundational skills that will help them learn how to decode, comprehend, and write about what they read. My students will be able to use these materials during center time both in small groups and independently to support in their social skills, such as collaboration and cooperation, while engaging them in learning foundational reading skills.
Let's all make learning how to read fun!
