Our scholars are so AMAZING! They care about our school and want to take care of it. They take great pride in the garden and recycling. Our scholars are thriving in the pursuit of becoming environmental Stewards. They are exposed to science curriculums that encourage them to engage in projects and activities that have real-world implications. For example, our scholars participate in local clean-up events, develop school wide recycling programs, and are advocates for policy changes in our communities. We host outdoor learning experiences, partnering with some of the best universities in Maryland. Our scholars work together as a unit to ensure that our green space is protected and cared for. Stewarding our campus even during the weekend and extended breaks. Our scholars take great pride in having an understanding of their environment, the impacts of our behaviors on it, and the importance of its protection.
