My students are amazing young people in grades 9-12. They are energetic, smart and funny. They have a tremendous amount of school pride and they deserve to be well cared for. They overcome adversity, they face challenges and they accomplish great things. 70% of them live in poverty, almost 60% of them are black and Hispanic. 70% of them go on to further their education after high school. 30% go into the armed services, work force or into a trade.
