I am privileged to teach students from so many backgrounds and educational levels. Most of my students are 12th graders, but I have 9th-11th graders also. Donations from anonymous individuals and companies, such as General Motors helped me provide supplies to lower-income students, perform enriching hands-on activities, and create a supportive and welcoming classroom. Google.org Teen Mental Health Initiative, Young Sheldon, and Ms. Moore's from NC donations provided items that helped with health issues like reducing headaches and eye strain from bright lights. Items I have received have also allowed students with sensory issues and autism function better by reducing the number of stimuli in the room. I feel privileged to be able to teach the students each year and truly grateful every time I receive funding to help the future.
