I teach students that are 9-12 grade. They are a diverse bunch of eager artists. Everything is a new experience. Over my 20 years of teaching I have seen a change in the kids abilities to problem solve and construct things. I try to focus on these skills in team situations to help them with concept to concrete. This project is ideal because it does not need any special tools. It fits into standards of learning to draw the figure and a social issue assemblage.
