I am attempting to build a disc golf course at A. T. Allen elementary school where I teach physical education. The baskets will be set up in the field beside our school. I want to encourage students to get outdoors and exercise, while enjoying and learning about disc golf. Our field is a perfect spot to utilize a disc golf course. I try to encourage my students to find activities and games that they can play and enjoy even into their adult lives. By teaching them the game of disc golf I feel it is an activity that they will love. It encourages outdoor movement and you only need a frisbee to play!
