I teach academic English to ELL (English Language Learner) middle school students in Greensboro, NC. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive space for my students. Coming from varying backgrounds and all corners of the globe it is so important that they have a space in the school where they feel comfortable to act like themselves. I am also a highly effective teacher. In the 23-24 academic year, of all 120+ schools in our district, I had the highest percentage of my students exit out of the ELL program by receiving a passing score on the state-required WIDA ACCESS Test!
