Our school is a Title I school. The goal of having an Outdoor Learning Center is for students to be able to internalize these concepts by having hands-on experiences that they will never forget. These experiences will take place in an outdoor learning science lab in which all students K-5th grade will observe real science taking place in our own school backyard. The goal of this outdoor lab is that all grades participate in making their own gardens and to participate in grade level outdoor activities. This is not a one day activity, but an ongoing hands-on learning process which integrates math, science, reading and social studies
